Thanks again for all of your guy's/girl's help. With matplotlib I am able to obtain the subplots with the x and y axis labels, but the titles of each subplot do not transfer over to the figure created by matplotlib. Titles of subplots are in fact annotations ( ), so passing them in the makesubplots function is a convenient way to have their location computed automatically for you (this is done in python and not by the javascript library which is doing all the plotting). G.matplotlib(figure=fig, sub=subplot, verify=True, axes=True, frame=True, gridlines='major') ![]() Now on to plotting with matplotlib fig = mpl.figure(figsize = (15,10))įor i, g in zip(range(1, 5), pic._glist): In which I obtain subplots with titles, I would upload picture but it says I need >60 points to upload files Graphics_array(gpairs).show(frame=True,figsize=,gridlines=True) Plotting Using Sage # Label the plots on the left column ![]() #Creating a plot list for the first four legendre function of the second kind: Here is an example of adding subplot titles to a 2 x 2 subplot grid of scatter traces. Return ((2*n-1)*x*legendre_second(n-1,x) - (n-1)*legendre_second(n-2,x))/n Multiple Subplots with Titles The annotations argument can be used to position text annotations as titles for each subplot. #Function defining Legendre Functions of the Second Kind using Bonnet's recursion formula: If a figure does not it exist, then this command creates one. Here is a simplified code of what I am working with: import matplotlib.pyplot as mpl Add title to subplot grid collapse all in page Syntax sgtitle (txt) sgtitle (target, txt) sgtitle ( ,Name,Value) sgt sgtitle ( ) Description example sgtitle (txt) adds a title above the grid of subplots in the current figure. I am able to put titles on the subplots using Sage's plotting function, but unable to put titles on the subplots using matplotlib. ![]()
